Pickups of the Day for June 3rd

  • It feels like Opening Day was just like week, but it’s really the first full week of June. Temperatures have started to rise in all big league seasons, yet offenses have faltered. We had eight teams score 150 or more runs from the international opening series until the end of April, but only three squads (the Phillies, the Brewers and the Royals) surpassed that mark from May 1 through June 2.

That makes it difficult for us to find some real gems, especially on the hitting side, sitting on the waiver wire. When offense is down league wide, it affects us all, so the only way to truly stand out is either already have those awesome waiver wire pickups or use this article (which we do every single day of the MLB season) to find the hottest, shiniest gems and profit from our savvy pickups.
