“Fewer rain problems this week – and a Mexico City alert!”
Do you know the weather forecast for Mexico City this weekend? Who cares, right? Wrong! YOU care because Houston and Colorado play there on Saturday and Sunday. These will be the two hottest games of the week as temperatures will be near 85 degrees. And there’s a big added benefit to playing in Mexico City. With an elevation of over 7,000 feet, Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu is MUCH higher than the highest MLB stadium in the U.S. – Coors Field. The hot weather and very high elevation will greatly aid hitters, just like last year when 37 runs were scored in just two games. START YOUR HOUSTON AND COLORADO HITTERS ON THE WEEKEND!
