Five days after releasing him following the expiration of his 10-day deal, the Nets are bringing Justin Anderson back to the organization, this time by trading for his G League rights.

The Long Island Nets are acquiring Anderson in exchange for the rights to Henry Ellenson, who had been on a two-way deal with the Nets but was waived on January 3rd so the Nets could sign Chris Chiozza. Anderson appeared in three games for Brooklyn, posting averages of 1.0 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks in 5.7 minutes.
