Closers can be over valued at times as there are tons of saves available all throughout drafts and throughout the season on the waiver wire, especially in 12-team leagues.
But if you are in a deeper league or a draft and hold league, it might be prudent for you to spluge on a closer or two among your early round selections.
Headed into 2025, there are a ton of question marks surrounding some key bullpens.
How far does Tanner Scott’s value drop being a member of a deep ‘pen in LA? Is Kirby Yates worth taking?
Is Robert Suarez going to do it again? Or should we fear the presence of Jason Adam and emergence of Jeremiah Estrada?
Well, the WIlliamson300 is here to help you figure it all out.
Here are my top 24 closers for the upcoming 2025 season, followed by the top 20 non-closers that should be considered in leagues that count holds.
NOTE:
- I will update these rankings often throughout the off season as we gather new information and data from spring training.
- I have a blurb of analysis on most names and the plan is to have this list updated with analysis for each and every player.
- The entirety of the Williamson300 will be rankings for redraft, traditional five-category roto leagues.
