Key Storylines

Injury Report Part 1: While I would expect players trying to play through knocks and smaller injuries for a knockout game, it is important to note that both sides have some questions marks heading into the game on Wednesday. Jalen Johnson is listed on the injury report as questionable due to right shoulder soreness, while Bogdan Bogdanovic is also questionable with a left quad contusion. Should either player be unable to play, we would see more of De’Andre Hunter and Zaccharie Risacher. No Johnson would put a lot more offensive burden on Trae Young, who has not been shooting the ball well as of late. Larry Nance Jr. also started the previous game with Johnson out (played 24 minutes), so he is a low-end name to watch. 

Injury Report Part 2: On the Knicks side, Josh Hart is listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain. Should Hart be unable to go, we could see Miles McBride move into the starting unit, with Cameron Payne getting the backup minutes in the backcourt. For fantasy managers looking for streaming options on Wednesday, both McBride and Payne are options to consider even if Hart does play, but both players would receive a significant boost should Hart be unable to suit up.

Depending on who is available on both sides injury wise, my preferred options would be De’Andre Hunter (if available) and Miles McBride.

Alternatives: Zaccharie Risacher, Cameron Payne, Larry Nance Jr. if Jalen Johnson is out (deep formats)
