Short Rotations: It will be interesting to monitor how coaches will treat the elimination games from a minutes distribution standpoint. With how the schedule is set up, the teams playing in the quarterfinals would have multiple days to rest prior to having to play again. Considering these are must-win games, it would not be surprising to see the teams going with shorter rotations aka playoff-like rotations. For the Celtics, that could result in an eight-man rotation on Monday. Kristaps Porzingis will not play, which should result in another start for Al Horford. Sam Hauser, Luke Kornet and Payton Pritchard will most likely see minutes off the bench, but it remains to be seen if head coach Joe Mazulla will go deeper into his bench considering the options he has available. Shorter rotations also mean more minutes for starters, which could boost their fantasy outputs as well for Monday.
The One Time: Tyrese Haliburton has yet to play in a televised game on TNT in his career. Unfortunately for him and all of us NBA fans, he is listed as questionable for the game tonight due to an upper respiratory infection. Haliburton missed the Pacers’ last game on Saturday, and if he is unable to go would open up streaming opportunities across all formats. T.J McConnell would become the primary streaming option for Monday. Andrew Nembhard would also get a boost, but McConnell is the priority. Fantasy managers will need to keep an eye on Haliburton’s status prior to tip off.
