Week 12 of Streamer Tidd-Bits also happens to be week 14 of the fantasy season, a.k.a. the midpoint. If you still think it’s early then maybe that last sentence shook you up a little. And if your team(s) are struggling then the perspective you may want to take is that your best half of the season may still be ahead of you. But for that to happen, you will have to dig in and put off any thoughts of fantasy football for a while. I do have good news to share, and that is that we bounced back nicely after a poor showing last week. Our recommendation of Miles Mikolas as a merit-based add for the week of 6/3 – 6/9 was easily our best pick for that category this year. Mitch Spence unfortunately didn’t come through for us, but a win per week for the merit-based recommendations is pretty good.

Our matchup-based recommendations for the week of 6/10 – 6/16 turned out to be even better. These also graded out as one win (Roddery Munoz) and one loss (Randy Vasquez), but our loss was solely based on technicalities. Randy Vasquez held the A’s in check, limiting them to one run over five innings. Unfortunately, he was both an inning and/or a strikeout away from us sweeping the matchup-based adds, but if you streamed Vasquez I’m sure you were pleased with the results. Our win for the week was Roddery Munoz. Munoz had arguably our best matchup-based result of the season, only allowing two baserunners and no runs while striking out five Mets over six innings. He was originally slated for a matchup against the Nationals, but the slightly tougher matchup didn’t slow him down one bit. As we head into the second half of the season let’s keep this momentum going.
