• Welcome to another night of Monday Night Pickups. With the playoffs quickly approaching its climax, we are here to give you the strongest performing players available to help you succeed in your matchups. This list may be shorter than usual, but the quality of this list cannot be denied. Happy St. Patrick’s Day and enjoy.

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

    Jared Butler, G, PHI

Tonight’s Game: 37 Minutes, 21 points (7-of-15 FG, 6-of-6 FT), two rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and one triple

Butler is on the rise in Philadelphia. the Sixers’ stars are slowly bowing out for the season one-by-one, making Butler a play for fantasy. He is sitting around the top-150 range, with his biggest strengths being PTS, AST and FT%. Butler is fairly young, so games and minutes like this will help him develop as a player. If you are in need of solid volume play with assists attached, Butler is your man.

    Kelly Olynyk, F/C, NOR

Tonight’s Game: 24 Minutes, nine points (3-of-6 FG, 2-of-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one triple

Olynyk always finds his way into fantasy value. There will be a little more to do with Trey Murphy (shoulder) out for the season, so Olynyk could see an extra shot or two headed his way. Seasoned vets in the fantasy space know that Olynyk can derive his value elsewhere and can put up a strong line in about 25 MPG. Grab him if you need a little bit of everything.
