The year keeps chugging along and we are starting to get into the final stretch run for fantasy playoffs. Now is the time to make sure you are adding key pieces that can help give you an added boost to your team to get you over the hump. In this column, I urge you to go pick up someone whom I have been talking about all year, followed by a rooking and veteran call-up who might be seeing their roster numbers skyrocket, soon.

Tyler Stephenson – C – CIN – 38% Yahoo

I have had this name on my pickups column a few times this year, and no one seems to be listening. To be fair, he has gone up 15% over the last day so some of y’all are doing the right thing here.

Over his last ten games, he has three homers, nine RBI, and a 1.082 OPS. He has a 194 wRC+ and a .457 wOBA.   If you had listened to me all year, he was on your roster and you reaped these benefits.

On the year he has a slash of .247/.326/.448 with 14 homers and 44 RBI. And I’ve said all year it seems, the ‘under the hood’ numbers, back it up.

• Barrel – 9.7%
• Hard-hit – 44.5%

He also has incredible quality of at-bat numbers, so he rarely beats himself.

Those of you were OBP matters if your leagues, he is a great add.

Based on the upshot in rostership, this might be last call on him so go snatch him up.
