Game Total 232Key Storylines
Suns, Mavericks and Kings are Bucks today – The Lakers have given themselves enough cushion between them and the Warriors that they now are taking aim at the teams ahead of them. However, with just 11 games left, there is little room for error if they want to get out of the 9/10 game of the Play-In Tournament, where one loss ends the season. They are 2.5 games back of the Suns and three games back of the Mavs and Kings, who are tied for the sixth seed, which is the target to miss the Play-In Tournament altogether. The bad news for the Lakers? They’re going to be without LeBron James. His absence gives 12-team streaming value to Taurean Prince and Rui Hachimura. Spencer Dinwiddie will also get a usage bump, increasing his value. However, D’Angelo Russell is set to return from a one-game absence.
Cavs, Knicks and Magic are all Lakers today – The Bucks are the two seed in the East, 2.5 games ahead of the Cavs, three games ahead of the Knicks and four up on the Magic. I included the Magic because, well, I wanted to. They’re a very long shot with just 11 games left on their schedule, but getting the two seed means an extra round of home court so that would be the goal for all of these teams. Patrick Beverley is out for this one but that does not have a major impact on fantasy. AJ Green probably plays some but it is doubtful it is enough to obtain value. Outside of the probable tags for Giannis and Khris Middleton, there is no major fantasy news for this one on the Bucks side.
