Blake GriffinPF, Detroit PistonsThe Pistons have been granted a $9.2M disabled player exception for the projected season-ending injury to Blake Griffin, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic.
Griffin recently underwent knee surgery and he is facing an extended rehab process. The Pistons being awarded the exception means that the dynamic forward is being ruled out for the remainder of the season. Sekou Doumbouya and Markieff Morris will continue to split the power forward minutes while it will be interesting to see whether the team makes a move with the available $9.2 million.
