The Kings updated the status of Richaun Holmes (right shoulder) on Thursday, saying that he will not travel for the next game due to an illness but should resume rehab in the coming days, hopefully leading to a return next week.

Holmes has been out since January 6 and while he was initially deemed day-to-day, it's been almost a month now. With news that Marvin Bagley will be sidelined until mid-February at minimum, Holmes should be able to put his stamp on the starting center role assuming he meets this timeline. There's no reason that he should be on any waiver wires, and this could be the final few days of the buy-low window.
