Nemanja BjelicaPF, Sacramento KingsAfter logging 70 starts last season, Nemanja Bjelica started in 61 of the Kings’ 63 final games before the current campaign was halted, a trend which will likely continue in the Orlando bubble due to Marvin Bagley’s latest injury.
With the Kings missing Richaun Holmes and Alex Len for much of camp, Bjelica has been asked to shift over and play center as well as power forward. His versatility allows the team to exercise some small-ball schemes where the Serbian forward is most effective. Thrust back into the starting lineup after the opening game of the season when Marvin Bagley broke his thumb, Bjelica is having another career-year in Sacramento, averaging 11.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists, all of which are career-highs, as is his 42.4 conversion rate from behind the 3-point line.
