Appearing in a recent podcast, John Collins said that he is hopeful he will sign a rookie-scale contract extension with the Hawks this offseason.

“Everything is still in the talks, but I’m all in, I’m true to Atlanta and ready to extend,” said the young forward. Collins had a fantastic season this past year and finished as a top-11 player in both 8- and 9-cat formats, even though he missed 25 games due to a suspension for violating the NBA's Anti-Drug Program. Him and Trae Young have enjoyed playing together while the addition of Clint Capela will give the young Hawks a strong boost for next year. Look for Collins to be drafted in the very first few rounds of fantasy drafts next season.
