Jamal CrawfordSG, Brooklyn NetsNets head coach Jacque Vaughn said on Monday that Jamal Crawford will not play in any of Brooklyn’s remaining scrimmages, but he will make his debut in the season re-opener against the Magic on Friday.
Vaughn added that he’s working on building the new guys up, which will allow these players to play more minutes when they eventually take the court for the first time. Crawford hasn’t played an NBA game since April 9, 2019 and some rust should be expected, but the Nets will need healthy bodies and the veteran guard should see plenty of time.
