How’d We Get Here?
The Mavs made a run to the Finals after finally finding the right roster mix to complement their star guards, adding lob threats, rim protectors, versatile defenders and shooters. Why fix what isn’t broken? The Mavs added Klay Thompson to really stretch the floor and Spencer Dinwiddie to take some of the load off Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, but otherwise return most of last season’s roster. Dallas now knows what it takes to get to the Finals and they believe they’ve got the right tools in the box to get back there again.
