Fantasy Basketball Draft Guide 2026: Sleepers

It’s that time of year again! We’re just over a week away from the start of the NBA season, which means fantasy drafts are in full swing. The difference between underrated known quantities and genuine sleepers is becoming more clear, though we will say that there aren’t as many obvious names on the board as there were a year ago if we try and delineate clearly between the two groups. We’re generally hesitant to include anyone with a top-100 ADP on our sleeper lists and this year we didn’t have to consider too many guys on that radar, which means that fantasy GMs should have a chance to cook in the late rounds of drafts. Someone who is universally drafted is more “undervalued” than a true sleeper, so we try to focus on the guys who you can really win with at the end of drafts.
Again, we’re trying to bypass the obvious. That means guys like Ty Jerome, Day’Ron Sharpe and Sandro Mamukelashvili don’t count for our purposes. Everyone knows what the deal is there, and if your whole league thinks those guys are sleepers, are they still really sleepers?
We’re looking to hit on all of these sleeper picks, obviously, but we’re really hoping to deliver another big win or two to carry on the tradition of calling out one major needle-mover every summer. Last year it was Ryan Rollins who became our big winner and we’re hoping for a similar win (or two, or three, or five, or 10…) this season. Fingers crossed, let’s get at it.
