Hello and welcome to the 2026-27 Fantasy Basketball Draft Guide!
This is our biggest annual production and we could not be happier to welcome you back for another year of fantasy basketball. The marathon begins now and we’ll be with you every step of the way, between our top-of-the-line blurb feed for the most up-to-date news and analysis — including new filters for transactions, add and drop recommendations and key news — our weekly in-season articles and everything that is included in this Draft Guide. There’s plenty of stuff cooking and you can expect a deep bag of tools, articles and rundowns to be added to the Draft Guide as we go along. On top of our comprehensive player profiles that are the best in the business, you’ll also get the classics like Sleepers and Busts, mock drafts including member of the community — that means you! — and of course, our rankings — including the Bruski 150 — and strategy guides for whatever kind of league you want. Anything you need to get an edge on draft day and beyond can be found right here.
If you’re back again (after winning some leagues last year), it is great to see you again! If you’re new, welcome to the party! As always, our goal is to give you all the top insight for the fantasy season so this Draft Guide and our in-season premium membership pay for themselves. We have revamped our look this year to make navigating the Draft Guide just a little bit easier so you can make full use of all you have at your disposal, and remember that content will be continuously added from now up until opening night. What you see today will be different from what you see as the days roll on, so keep checking back regularly. And if there’s something you want that we don’t have, do not hesitate to reach out and let us know. We’re all fantasy players first and fantasy experts second, so we are more than happy to provide whatever is needed out there.
We’ll have guides, analysis and opinions to help fantasy players of every experience level. For the beginners, we have a few things just for you to help introduce the game and show you how to navigate the season. We have articles that will take it right down to the building blocks of fantasy hoops and point you in the right direction. For veteran players, we will have more in depth breakdowns of strategy, stats and trends to help take you across the finish line.
The team is working on introductory articles and strategy guides to help you tackle all the basic league formats, from points to roto to dynasty to best ball. Naturally, we’ll have rankings for each league type as well, capped off by the Bruski 150, which is why you’re all here in the first place.
As usual, we’ll start out reviewing last year before we make sense of a busy offseason. Transparency is important so we always take the time to look back and see where we might’ve been off in our analysis; that’s how we get better every year. Each and every team has their own Season Wrap, where we recap every player’s fantasy performance. We take a look back at last year’s Sleepers and Busts and also go for a deep dive to see what was behind some of fantasy’s most disappointing and successful efforts.
As for what’s on the horizon, you can check out our projections and ADP Tracker to make sure everything adds up. Both of those get regular updates so you can stay on top of things as news rolls in and the league landscape changes. Later on in the offseason we’ll start doing weekly ADP Reports so you can quickly find out what’s moving and shaking in draft rooms. Our schedule tools and analysis to help you head-to-head managers navigate the mine field. It’ll be like entering the matrix without the bendy fighting and flips.
We’ll be delivering dozens and dozens of standalone articles, too. Whether that’s focusing on potential breakouts, specific category specialists, new faces in new places, statistical standouts or young players on the rise, we’re going to break out the microscope to see what’s in store. Once again, please let us know if you have something you’d like to see covered that isn’t on the menu because we’re always down to find some answers for subscribers.
If you’re tired of redraft leagues and diving into something more involved, we’ve got you covered too. All things Dynasty will be assembled by the incomparable Mark Camero. Rankings, offseason takes, a closer look at first-round picks, and a whole lot more.
And last but not least (well, not last — keep your eyes peeled in early September), we’re going to have our team pages and player profiles. It’s an industry-leading endeavor, as we recap last season, preview this season, chronicle injury history and deliver a short but sweet fantasy outlook for every single player in the NBA. Every single player! All of them. If they’re under contract, we’ve got them. That means we’re going to have profiles for over 500 players. Frankly, we end up with more profiles than players. When the journey starts we’ll write up everyone which means we have profiles for guys who end up getting cut in camp… but we’re ready if they ever latch on again. Toby Okani, the ball is in your court.
As mentioned above, we’ll also be doing all kinds of mock drafts. Mix it up with the team and read our recaps as we all prepare for the main event. The drafts themselves are also a ton of fun — who doesn’t love drafting — and you get to chat it up with our experts while it’s running.
So welcome to the Draft Guide. It’s a labor of love but we really do love it. Let’s go win some championships.
