The NBA All-Star Break is upon us, and we’re giving you all the extra details after one of the busiest trade deadlines in recent years. As always, the Daily Cheat Sheet’s got you covered for all the best insights, pickups, streamers and more, with SportsEthos seal of quality. Let’s not waste anymore time and get to it.
Top Pickups
This is the “general must-add” section regardless of the slate. If these players are being overlooked and remain chilling on the waiver wire, consider adding them to your squad.
Jock Landale (16%)
An epic Hawks debut for the newly acquired veteran center, who we thankfully don’t have to see in a Utah Jazz uniform. Jock started this new chapter in his career with the Hawks by dropping a 26-point performance, along with 11 rebounds, five dimes, five triples and four blocks. Playing 32 minutes might not be the norm for him once Onyeka Okongwu comes back from his dental injury, but Landale will have plenty of minutes to produce the way he was in Memphis, and do not discount his chances of staying in the starting lineup as Atlanta lacks size and paint protection. Do not underestimate his potential going forward.
Gui Santos (8%)
