Another Friday, another opportunity to thank the basketball gods the NBA is not run like the MLB, otherwise one team would get all the star players. But you can be the Dodgers of your league thanks to the Daily Cheat Sheet, where we always bring the best intel for fantasy basketball: pickups, streamers, latest news and trends, you name it. Here’s another edition to set your team on the path to a W.
Top Pickups
This is the “general must-add” section regardless of the slate. If these players are being overlooked and remain chilling on the waiver wire, consider adding them to your squad.
Naji Marshall (32%)
The injuries that have hampered the Dallas Mavericks lately have opened even more opportunities for the rest of their rotation, and there is the veteran Marshall who has been on the rise ever since. If he’s still available in your league, he’s definitely worth adding to your team if you have the spot: Thursday night against the Utah Jazz, he had 22 points, six boards, four assists, three steals and two triples in just 24 minutes, but he’s been going over the 30-minute mark in five of hits past seven games. This one was an early blowout, so you should see him rack up 30 minutes a night in normal conditions even if Cooper Flagg, P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford come back eventually.
