It’s Friday and we’re here for a Showdown between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets! It’s game 6, the Warriors are at home and favoured by 5 points with a 205 O/U and there are a couple of major team stats that we should acknowledge before jumping into our favourite plays. In the Playoffs, Golden State ranks dead last in defensive rebounding % while allowing the 7th least 2nd chance points, being in the middle of the pack in that regard. Aditionally, they also allow the 3rd most points in the paint! Houston’s main defensive flaw this playoffs as been their three pointers allowed, as they’ve been allowing the 2nd most threes per game albeit at just a 36% clip. Golden State has also forced the 5th most turnovers per game, but they’ve turned them into 15.8 points off turnovers per game, ranking 9th out of 16 teams. There’s a lot more to get to, so let’s get started!

DFS Pillar Plays
Stephen Curry
Position: PG
Salary: $18,000 / $12,000
Since his injury and in his last two games, Jimmy Butler has posted an 18.8% usage rate, with Stephen Curry’s usage being the leader in the clubhouse out of every Warrior that played 20+ mpg, standing at 23.1%. Curry’s minutes should revert back to his 37 to 41 minutes played in the first four games of the series, and the usage increase over the Warriors 2nd most important offensive player gives him an apparent edge in volume. With the Warriors trying to close out the series at home, it’s important to note that over his Playoff career, Curry shoots 3% better from three in Golden State when compared to road games, and the efficiency boost paired with the Rockets allowing the 2nd most threes over the Playoffs bodes well for Curry. All in all and after seeing the aforementioned statistical trends, starting your lineup with the best player in the game playing at home to close out the series seems like a wise play.
