Sports Ethos MLB Trade Deadline Fantasy Baseball Winners – Redraft Edition

  • The trade deadline was quite active this year with 30+ deals going down on July 30.

    This deadline had it all. From trades that improve teams on the margins (Ferguson to Astros, Floro to Diamondbacks) to the major swings to help teams win-now (Flaherty to Dodgers).

    However, this article is not concerned with what these trade’s mean for real baseball. Here at Sports Ethos, we do fantasy. This list of players will be dudes managers will need to target in their redraft leagues.

    Which players have been placed in a better situation to produce and help fantasy managers in their push for fantasy glory for this year?

    Connor Norby – Although the ballpark and lineup are not ideal, simply getting a chance to play every day makes Norby a viable fantasy asset in the short term

    Carlos Estévez– Closing for the Phillies will provide significantly more opportunity for Estévez, enough so that if he succeeds in his role, he could be a top 10 fantasy reliever
