This is the rare two-week fantasy week, but most leagues only have the standard amount of pickups, so you don’t really waste any moves if you don’t have to.  Having said that, the extra week off can do wonders for certain players and it’s not a bad idea to stash a player like Desmond Bane if he was dropped in your league and you can afford the spot until we get a firm up date on if/when he will return.

Standard Leagues

Lu Dort, SG/SF, Thunder (30% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 31 minutes, eight points (3-of-5 FG), two triples, four boards, four dimes and two steals

Dort isn’t lighting up the scoreboard recently, but he’s getting 30+ minutes pretty consistently and has multiple treys and defensive stats in B2B games.  The Thunder have a lot of mouths to feed, but Dort has some value as a triple and steals specialist.  The Thunder don’t play again until after the ASB so there isn’t any urgency to grab him, but he’s on the radar in 14-team leagues.

Markelle Fultz, PG, Magic (46% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 18 minutes, four points (2-of-5 FG), seven boards, four dimes and one steal

This is more of a stash since Fultz is seeing his minutes fluctuate from 18-28 on any given night.  Jalen Suggs continues to play well which cuts into Fultz’s production, but there is no denying his talent.  Right now, he’s mostly a steals and dimes specialist, but he’s got upside once his minutes stabilize or an injury propels him up the ladder.  This is really only a pickup if you are comfortable in the standings and are looking to improve your team down the fantasy stretch run.

Duncan Robinson, G, Heat (25% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 26 minutes, 23 points (8-of-12 FG, 1-of-1 FT), six treys, three boards, five dimes, two steals and one block

The Heat are once again decimated by injuries and Robinson is almost always the next man up.  He’s been up-and-down this season, but with nine treys over these last two games, it appears his arrow is back on the upward swing.  Jimmy Butler is out until the ASB and Terry Rozier beyond and if you need triples, look no further than the catch-and-shoot specialist.  The Heat only play Wednesday and next Friday, so he might not be the player you want for immediate help, but he’s got some solid value over the next couple of weeks.
