Tremont Waters

PG, Boston Celtics

The Celtics are bringing back point guard Tremont Waters on a two-way contract, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Waters was a 2019 second-round pick out of LSU and appeared in just 11 games for the Celtics last season, when he was also on a two-way contract. He did spend plenty of time with the Maine Red Claws, averaging 18.0 points and 7.3 assists on his way to second-team All-G League honors. He will provide help as an insurance backup point guard.
