• Juancho Hernangomez
    PF, Minnesota Timberwolves

Shams Charania reports that Juan Hernagomez and the Wolves have agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract.

Hernangomez had a nice run with the Wolves following a mid-season trade from Denver last season and he should have a decent chance to start at power forward for a revamped Minnesota squad. In the 14 games he played for the Wolves last year, Hernangómez put up 12.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 turnovers and 2.1 triples in 29.4 mpg. The minutes might come down, and we'd expect him to take a hit since that largely came sans Karl-Anthony Towns regardless, but Hernangomez is a young guy with some upside. It's a decent bet for a Wolves team trying to get in the playoff race.
