It has been an uncharacterstically brutal year for the running back position on the waiver wire. With that said, we might be all the way back up this week.

Unfortunately, this usually happens only one way at this point in the season, and that’s through injury. And we had a fair share of them this week, with the most potentially significant one coming on Monday Night. We could probably build the entire podium this week out of the running back position, and we just might.

Quick reminder: I’m primarily going to discuss players with below 50% ownership on Yahoo, with possible exceptions if the number is very close.  There will be a section for players closer to 75-80% owned later in the article, which will include names to make sure aren’t owned in your league, but those names likely won’t be available in most cases.
