Week 1 Kickoff Games Studs and Duds

STUDS

1. Saquon Barkley (Written by Brandon Furtado)

He was the tone-setter for this Eagles offense all night in their Friday night showdown against the Green Bay Packers. The only other Eagle to have over 100 yards and 3+ touchdowns in his debut with the team was Terrell Owens back in 2004. Barkley finished with 24 carries, 132 total yards, two rushing touchdowns, and one receiving touchdown. He was just inches short of getting his fourth score late in the game, but the damage was done to the Packers defense by that point. In a PPR league, you might have already won your league since he put up 33.2 fantasy points. The team goes back home to Philadelphia for Week 2, where they will face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
