• Welcome to Wednesday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 3/19! We’re entering the home stretch of the season, which means more and more waiver wire options are emerging. With eleven games on the slate tonight, let’s take a look at who’s worth an add during these crucial nights and weeks.

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Bennedict Mathurin, SG, SF, IND (41% rostered)

Tonight: 32 minutes, 23 points (6-of-12 FG, 10-of-12 FT), seven boards, one assist, one steal, one triple.

Analysis: With Tyrese Haliburton (back) sidelined, Mathurin had a chance to get going tonight and has now recorded back-to-back 20-plus point performances. He is a strong streaming option—or even a rosterable one—when given minutes, as he showed earlier in the season during a very serviceable streak before cooling off. Moving forward, he’s worth a look in standard leagues due to the Pacers’ favorable schedule.

Kyle Filipowski, PF, C, UTA (32% rostered)

Tonight: 21 minutes, 21 points (8-of-11 FG, 1-of-4 FT), four boards, two assists, four triples.

Analysis: Filipowski started tonight’s game in Lauri Markkanen’s absence due to personal reasons. The rookie has put together some solid performances in the latter part of the season, and tonight was another strong showing. Filipowski is worth holding onto for the rest of the season, as even when Markkanen, Walker Kessler, or other Jazz starters have been available, their minutes have been limited. With his strong production, Filipowski can continue to be a silly season winner down the stretch.
