Six games are on the slate today, offering some intriguing matchups with teams coming in either off a back-to-back or with a bit of rest. With fewer games compared to yesterday’s action-packed eleven-game slate, this is a great opportunity to comb through the waiver wire for under-rostered top performers who stood out tonight. Here are the players worth considering to boost your lineup on this smaller slate. Don’t forget to refresh the page as new players get added throughout the night. Happy hunting!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Malik Beasley, SG, DET (39% rostered)
Tonight: 33 minutes, 23 points (8-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FT), four boards, one assist, two steals, six triples.
Analysis: After a four-point outing in just 18 minutes against the Bucks, Beasley bounced back tonight with a bench-leading 23-point performance in 33 minutes, shooting 50% from the field and sinking six 3-pointers. Prior to his last game, Beasley had scored in double digits for 13 straight games, so it was encouraging to see him return to form. Beasley’s consistent scoring, complemented by solid efficiency, 3-pointers made, and occasional contributions in assists, rebounds, and steals, makes him a strong candidate for more roster consideration.
T.J. McConnell, PG, IND (18% rostered)
Tonight: 28 minutes, 14 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two boards, two assists, one steal.
Analysis: McConnell has been on a solid streak, scoring in double digits for three consecutive games. Tonight, he logged his highest minutes of the season, largely due to Andrew Nembhard’s (rest) absence. McConnell is capable of providing consistent value with around 25 minutes of playing time, so if these minutes become a regular occurrence, he should be added to rosters.
