• The waiver wire becomes more important as injuries, rest days, and suspensions start to add up. At this stage of the season, making smart moves can have a major impact on your fantasy team’s success. Whether it’s finding a short-term streaming option or landing a player who can stick around during the unpredictable “silly season,” there is always value to uncover.

Tonight’s eleven-game slate has plenty of action, and I’m going to be breaking down the key performances while highlighting players who can help your roster. Some of these players might carry value into the coming weeks, while others could be short-term solutions for this week. This article will be updated as new players are added, so check back regularly. Let’s get started!

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Payton Pritchard, PG, SG, BOS (50% rostered)

Tonight: 31 minutes, 20 points (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FT), two boards, four assists, one steal, four triples.

Analysis: Pritchard hasn’t maintained the same production he showed at the start of the season, but he’s still doing enough to remain useful in fantasy, especially if you need 3-pointers. Tonight, he took advantage of Derrick White’s quiet performance and earned meaningful minutes in a tough game for Boston. Pritchard sits right at the 50% rostered mark, and while his production won’t always be reliable, he’s worth keeping an eye on for managers in need of threes.

Santi Aldama, PF, C, MEM (46% rostered)

Tonight: 27 minutes, 20 points (9-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FT), 10 boards, two assists, one triple.

Analysis: Aldama is back to being productive for Memphis after dealing with health issues. His ability to contribute in multiple categories makes him a solid option for fantasy managers, even though his minutes can fluctuate from time to time. With Memphis playing four games next week, picking him up now could give you a solid edge in terms of games played. If Aldama was dropped in your league, now is the time to grab him.
