It will be much more tranquil this week compared to last week when the remnants of Hurricane Debby brought flooding rains to the eastern U.S. Very little rain is expected early this week with just a few hit-and-miss showers planned for the Northeast for the weekend series.
Here’s something odd: the main story this week is that temperatures will be very uniform for many games. No games will be particularly hot. Most games will be played in 75-82 degree temps. This leaves us in the unfortunate position of not having any games with weather-based hitting conditions that are much more favorable than others. It is the first time this season when hitters in one series don’t have a weather advantage over any other series. At least we have one series at Coors to look forward to!
