Key Storylines

– Where’s the Offense? The Raptors just had a nice win over the Bucks, but in general they have struggled to get their offense going. Can they find some answers? Will Dennis Schroder continue his torrid pace and will Gradey Dick continue to step into a bigger role? There are a lot of questions about how good the Raptors actually are going to be this season, and trade rumors continue to swirl. From a basketball perspective, they really miss Fred VanVleet.

– Kelly Oubre Jr.’s Job in Jeopardy? Nick Nurse put a bit of a ticking time clock on Oubre’s value saying he wasn’t going to be a starter forever. Maybe that tips his hand though and they’re out looking for another starting piece. It’s kind of obvious, but that’s what they should be doing and what is being reported that they’re doing. For now, we enjoy the value we have in guys like Tyrese Maxey, De’Anthony Melton, and Kelly Oubre Jr.
