Key Storylines

Top Teams – Both of these teams sit at the top of their respective conferences and real hoop heads should have this one circled as a clash of titans. The Wolves have been playing incredible and unselfish basketball this season, which hasn’t necessarily been the best for each player’s individual fantasy value aside from the guys near the bottom of the totem pole in Minnesota. Mike Conley, Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels would be some names we would have circled as fantasy risers here. Conversely, the Celtics remain a top-heavy approach with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown dominating the basketball. The big surprise has been Derrick White, who isn’t much of a surprise for us at SportsEthos, as he’s putting up career-best numbers in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, three-point percentage and free-throw percentage. Some regression is likely due, but even so a drop from second-round value puts him somewhere comfortably in the early rounds. Hopefully you listened to our preseason advice and drafted him where you could.

All the best players have pretty much been snapped up at this point, but Al Horford is still available in nearly half of all leagues. Kristapz Porzingis is questionable as of the writing of this article, which would push Horford into a larger role and easily put him on the standard league radar.
