Key Storylines

Ice Trae: The Hawks got a big win over the Cavs in the NBA Cup on Friday. After being fined for Trae Young sitting an NBA Cup game (which they won thanks to Dyson Daniels going off, good job NBA), let’s see if the Achilles issue holds Young out on the second night of a back-to-back.

40.3% FG: That is what Brandon Miller is shooting at the moment, yet he is still around the top-50 for 9-cat on the season. The 1.5 SPG and 91.4% FT can come down slightly, but if his field goals get to around 43%-to-45% that should still allow him mid-round value.

Stream of the Game

Both of these teams are on the second leg of a back-to-back, so it may be worth waiting for the injury reports on Saturday.

De’Andre Hunter is my choice for some points and threes as a player who often gets hot or cold in multi-game stretches and he may be feeling himself right now.

Vasa Micic (assists) if LaMelo Ball and Tre Mann remain out, or Mann if he is back.

Key Storylines

Let’s try again Paul: Paul George practiced fully on Friday and is questionable for Saturday. It sounds like he might play, so the buy-low window could start closing if he comes back on fire. George is a top-50 9-cat player minimum with borderline second-round upside, especially if Joel Embiid continues to miss games. Don’t let a poor reputation fool you.

Back-to-Back Watch: Cade Cunningham and Tobias Harris returned for NBA Cup action on Friday. I want to see if both of them (I believe Harris will be fine) and Ausar Thompson will play in the second leg. Besides this, we are still looking at the Jalen Duren-Isaiah Stewart splits of course.

Stream of the Game

Guerschon Yabusele remains the guy to have without Joel Embiid. Should Paul George and Caleb Martin (also questionable) remain out, Andre Drummond will start alongside Yabu and Drummond gets a higher ceiling as a rebounds streamer.

Kelly Oubre Jr. (points, 3s, maybe boards/steals), Malik Beasley (points/3s), Tim Hardaway Jr. (points/3s), Isaiah Stewart (big-man stuff)
