Injury Report
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Orlando Magic
Game Time: 6:00 pm ET
DraftKings Lines
MIL -4 (-108), ORL +4 (-112)
Game Total 232Key Storylines
– Feeling Things Out: The Bucks are sitting on a 5-3 record, but surely they wish they were playing a bit better after adding Damian Lillard via trade. They will need to figure out their defensive woes and who fits into this lineup best besides those two stars.
– The Mid-est Team? The Magic come in at 4-4 and have a ton of young talent to be excited about, but is it too early for us to call them good? Probably. Anthony Black has entered the rotation, but Gary Harris is on his way back and I would argue he’s a better fit with his ability to shoot. Do they prioritize winning now or giving their young guys run?

Jalen Suggs has been on fire and is still available in over half of all leagues. You should scoop him up until he cools down. If Lillard, who’s questionable, misses this one you can also stream some Cam Payne for points and assists.
Toronto Raptors @ Boston Celtics
Game Time: 7:00 pm ET
DraftKings Lines
TOR +8 (-112), BOS -8 (-108)
Game Total 224.5Key Storylines
– Offensive Spark? Dennis Schroder has been great, but the Raptors are still sitting at just 23rd in the league in points scored per game. Their defense is good enough to secure them wins with that low scoring, but a scoring punch would be very useful for them. Is it possible someone on the roster can step into that high usage role? Can Scottie Barnes continue to develop into that go-to guy?
– Cruisin’ Without Much Worry: The Celtics are just rolling along with no real drama at the moment. After a few tough losses, they have righted the ship with a win over the Nets in an in-season tournament game. The C’s are looking primed for a big season and we shouldn’t expect any notable shuffles in their rotations, barring injury.
Stream of the Game
You’re probably better off going with someone else, but Gary Trent Jr. is shooting well and provides an offensive punch for a team that needs it. If you need threes and some steals, he’s probably available in your league.
Miami Heat @ Atlanta Hawks
Game Time: 7:30 pm ET
FanDuel Lines (DraftKings N/A)
MIA +7 (-112), ATL -7 (-108)
Game Total 225.5Key Storylines
– Lackluster Start, Now with No Herro to Save Them: The Heat are just 4-4 on the season and haven’t really “turned it on” yet. They seem to have the same affliction as the Clippers last season where they just don’t seem to be playing with the right energy to scrape out wins. This should be a nice challenge for them against a surging Hawks team, but without Tyler Herro (ankle), they’ll have to get creative in their shot-making. They’ll have to lean on guys like Kyle Lowry and Josh Richardson.
– Soaring Hawks: Have they figured it out? Trae Young is playing better and now the Hawks are 5-3. Last season was a disappointment by any measure, but now they seem to have clicked and are playing good basketball. They’re going to run smack dab into the defense of the Miami Heat after their trip to Mexico City. It’s going to be a tough one, but the Hawks are going to have to prove they can handle the heat (ha) consistently this season.

With Tyler Herro on the sidelines, look for Kyle Lowry to step up in the interim. He had a really good game in the last one, but he has been known to disappear. He’s not guaranteed, at least in the stat line. If you struck out on Lowry, Josh Richardson continues to intrigue me and I would argue his skill set replaced Herro more directly.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors
Game Time: 8:30 pm ET
DraftKings Lines
CLE +4 (-110), GSW -4 (-110)
Game Total 225Key Storylines
– Rough Start: The Cavs have started 3-5 in the early-going and the Warriors are favored here, so they’re in danger of dropping to 3-6. There shouldn’t be a lot of panic as they haven’t had Jarrett Allen to start the season, and they just beat this Warriors team with their size not long ago. Look for them to be some strong underdogs to back here.
– Super Dario World: Dario Saric has been the most intriguing part of this Warriors squad, even with the addition of Chris Paul. Paul probably even strengthens Saric’s game with his ability to get him to his spots. Draymond Green and Saric have some overlap in offensive game, and that has translated to some early success.
Stream of the Game
Better suited for deeper leagues, but Dario Saric will continue to intrigue me with his ability to put up stats across the board.
