Note that teams have until 1 p.m. local time on the day of a game to submit their report for the second leg of a back-to-back, so look out for updates throughout the day as appropriate.

    Teams that have a Sunday-Monday B2B:

    Hornets, Bucks

LaMelo Ball, Nick Smith Jr. and Josh Green were out on Sunday, while Moussa Diabate exited early with an eye injury.

Jusuf Nurkic did not make his debut yet.

Mark Williams had not rejoined the team yet and it is still unclear whether or not he will be back with them for Monday’s game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will be out through the All-Star break with a mild left calf strain.

    Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic

    Game Time: 7:00 pm ET

    DraftKings Lines

    ATL +5 (+170), ORL -5 (-205)
    Game Total: 220.5

    Key Storylines

Gueye/Barlow, Capela: Mouhamed Gueye had an awesome game on Friday, followed up by a G League assignment on Saturday. Dominick Barlow may also be on the same diet, so we will have to figure out when they are active.

Clint Capela was not on the injury report for Saturday’s game, but Brad Rowland told us he would still be inactive, which he was. I would guess a buyout is coming soon.

Suggs still doubtful: The intense nature of Jalen Suggs’ play leads to injuries. Considering how banged up he is, I would assume he may just end up being out through the All-Star break.

Zaccharie Risacher:  I think he is generally worth rostering at the moment.

    Alternatives:

    Goga Bitadze
    Cole Anthony or Anthony Black
    Larry Nance Jr.
    Wendell Carter Jr.
    Jonathan Isaac
Mouhamed Gueye (currently listed as “questionable” for the G League)
    Georges Niang
    Vit Krejci
    Caris LeVert

    –deep league line–
    Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
    Terance Mann

San Antonio Spurs @ Washington Wizards

    SAS -11.5 (-625), WAS +11.5 (+455)
    Game Total: 235.5

    Key Storylines

Stephon Castle watch: The rookie went for 33 points on Friday and then 15 points on Saturday. We know defense is his top asset, but it is at least good to see that the De’Aaron Fox addition has not buried him so far, especially since we thought he would start next to Fox and then it was Chris Paul instead.

No Middleton or Smart: Josh Robbins of The Athletic said we likely won’t see those two on this side of the All-Star break. Their returns could be tricky for Bub Carrington, Bilal Coulibaly and Kyshawn George (George is questionable for Monday), but for now, we should likely be rostering those three to see what happens.

If George is out, Justin Champagnie moves into the fold.

    Stream of the Game

Bub Carrington and Bilal Coulibaly:  Roster them.

    Alternatives:

Kyshawn George – questionable – so if he plays
Justin Champagnie if George is out
    Jeremy Sochan
    Corey Kispert
    Stephon Castle
    Harrison Barnes
    Keldon Johnson
    Richaun Holmes and Tristan Vukcevic
    Malcolm Brogdon

    –deep league line–
    Julian Champagnie

    Minnesota Timberwolves @ Cleveland Cavaliers

    MIN +8 (+270), CLE -8 (-340)

    Key Storylines

Jaylen Clark: Clark has five triples and three steals across his last two games. If Edwards/Conley (both questionable) remain out, he might be a very low-end 12-team stream for specialist value (that might be a stretch though) and at least a deep-league option. Nickeil Alexander-Walker is still the priority and if you need dimes, Rob Dillingham.

De’Andre Hunter: Hunter is expected to debut on Monday. We should not base our entire opinion off a single sample, but this game should be the first of many for observations.

    Stream of the Game

Nickeil Alexander-Walker:  This assumes Jaden McDaniels surely isn’t available anywhere.

    Alternatives:

    Ty Jerome
    Mike Conley – questionable
    Max Strus
    De’Andre Hunter
    Sam Merrill (3s only)
Rob Dillingham (assists, if Conley/Ant are out)

    –deep league line–
Jaylen Clark (3s/steals) if at least one of Ant/Conley are out
Jaylon Tyson (monitor, not an add…same for Craig Porter Jr.)

    Charlotte Hornets @ Brooklyn Nets

    Game Time: 7:30 pm ET

    DraftKings Lines

    CHA +3.5 (+136), BKN -3.5 (-162)
    Game Total: 215

    Key Storylines

Mark Williams debacle: That complicates things. Moussa Diabate just got a three-year, standard deal as well. I don’t think the Hornets actually like or wanted Nurkic, considering they turned down getting him in the original Nick Richards deal. This was just asset-gathering (a pick) and an open slot when they thought Williams was gone.

Although…the Nurkic trade is not official yet… so what if… Surely not, right?

Anyway, I expect WIlliams to start and Diabate (if/when healthy) may still be the backup. Hopefully we do not get a three-way timeshare as that would hurt the Williams ceiling we had been seeing.

No Moves: The only noteworthy move was the Ben Simmons buyout. D’Angelo Russell is questionable, so Keon Johnson might have to run some point, I guess?
