Game 1 With Fox: Fantasy managers were able to gather some valuable information regarding the Spurs’ rotation based on their first game with De’Aaron Fox on Wednesday. Chris Paul started alongside Fox, and should be kept on rosters in standard formats. Stephon Castle moved to the bench and was limited to 20 minutes, not an encouraging sign for his value moving forward. Fantasy managers can hold onto Castle for a bit longer in order to get a larger sample size post Fox trade, but should keep expectations in check.
Knecht Hype: Yes, Dalton Knecht is absolutely worth taking a flier on in standard formats. However, Knecht’s overall fantasy game needs to be questioned, meaning, while Knecht will most likely contribute significantly from a scoring perspective (points, 3’s, FT%), the question will be whether he will be able to contribute effectively in other areas. However, the opportunity to play extended minutes will be there now that Knecht has moved teams.

Moussa Diabate would be a strong streaming option for big-man stats assuming Jusuf Nurkic is unavailable on Friday.
Alternatives: Jeremy Sochan, Harrison Barnes, Nick Smith Jr. and K.J. Simpson (note: LaMelo Ball has been upgraded to questionable)
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Washington Wizards

CLE -18 (-1800), WAS +1 (+1000)

Hunter: The Cavs made the move for De’Andre Hunter on trade deadline day, moving on from Caris LeVert and Georges Niang as well as draft compensation. Hunter’s fantasy value will take a hit in Cleveland, although I would try to hold onto Hunter in standard formats for a game or two in order to first get a better understanding of how his role will look like on the Cavs. I can see Hunter closing out games over Max Strus or Dean Wade at times depending on matchups and game situation.
New Arrivals Not Available: The Wizards will not have their new acquisitions available to play on Friday. Malcolm Brogdon is also listed as questionable for the game, meaning the Wizards will be missing a lot of bodies vs. the Cavs, making players such as Bub Carrington and KyShawn George appealing streaming targets.
