KPJ: The big beneficiary of Damian Lillard’s absence has been Kevin Porter Jr. KPJ is averaging 16 ppg over his last seven games in 24 minutes of action. Porter Jr. is the 56th-ranked player in 9-cat formats over this stretch, based on scorching shooting numbers, shooting 55% from the field and 92% from the free-throw line.

B2B: The Pistons are one of ten teams on a back-to-back on Friday, meaning that we could see a number of players getting the night off on teams, especially for those that are locked into a position standings-wise. The Pistons mathematically still have a shot at moving up to the five seed, but it would not be surprising to see them be cautious with their star player Cade Cunningham on a back-to-back considering Cade has recently just returned from an injury.

“Nothing To Play For”: The Magic are one of the aforementioned teams that are locked in seeding seeding-wise (7th), meaning that the team really has nothing to play for in their remaining two games. This means that we could see the rotation expanded and minutes limited for starters for the weekend.

Strong Finish: After a rather slow start to the season, both the Pacers and in particular Tyrese Haliburton have really improved during the second part of the campaign. Halliburton is the 4th-ranked player in per-game value in 9-cat formats over the last two months (22 games). This has moved him up to 5th on the season.
