There wasn’t too much headlining news on the NBA Trade Deadline, but there were a number of minor ones that affected rotations. Add on the usual slew of injuries, and there are plenty of watch-list names to keep our eyes on in the upcoming weeks. Let’s get into it!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Brandin Podziemski, G, Warriors (49% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 34 minutes, nine points (3-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block
Klay Thompson was out for this game, but Podziemski has displayed the ability to stuff the stat sheet. The scoring usage will be hit or miss, but he usually finds ways to make you satisfied with his lines, whether it be assists, boards, or some defensive contributions.
Precious Achiuwa, F/C, Knicks (37% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 41 minutes, 13 points (6-of-9 FGs), one trey, 16 rebounds, three assists, one block
Isaiah Hartenstein left the game with Achilles soreness, the same injury that kept him out for a few games previously. Achiwua was already bordering on standard league viability; with Hartenstein most likely set to miss a few games, this makes him a solid add.
