We’re getting into that part of the NBA season where teams are operating toward minimum capacities, whether due to injuries (Grizzlies, Pacers, Wizards) or due to trades (Raptors). Determining the trustworthy players from the one-night wonders can be tricky, so let’s see who we should add where!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Alex Caruso, G, Bulls
Tonight: 27 minutes, 10 points (4-of-6 FGs), two triples, three rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks
Shockingly, Caruso is just 47% rostered on Yahoo. The nagging injuries can be frustrating, but Caruso is too good to not be rostered everywhere. Make sure he’s not sitting on your wires.
Marvin Bagley III, F/C, Wizards
Tonight: 39 minutes, 20 points (10-of-16 FG), 11 rebounds, two dimes, two steals, three blocks
Daniel Gafford was out with a concussion, which left Bagley as the last center remaining. He went off tonight and played a massive 39 minutes, producing strong points, boards, and FG%. Don’t always expect the defensive stats, but if Gafford continues to be out, feel free to add Bagley in standard leagues.
