This piece will be discussing some batters who intrigue me on the free agent market that are owned in less than 50% of 15-team The Great Fantasy Baseball Invitational (TGFBI) leagues. If you are in a 12-team league or just a home fantasy baseball league, these might be players to keep an eye on, but not necessarily ones to add right now. In addition, I will suggest bid ranges for these players based on the projected impact that I see them bringing to your team.

Here is how I will break down my ranges of FAAB bids:

Immediate superstar player: $201+

Immediate impact player, maybe doesn’t have superstar upside: $101-200

Player who is likely to be started indefinitely: $51-100

Projectable upside but limited in some fashion: $26-50

Depth: $1-25
