Welcome to Friday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 12/13! We finally have a decent number of games to look at after some NBA cup games this week, let’s see who we can add!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Kelly Oubre Jr, SG/SF, PHI (29% rostered)
Tonight: 34 minutes, 12 points (6-of-13 FG), 13 rebounds, three assists
Analysis: Oubre has been on a nice stretch recently and logged another double-double against the Pacers, making that two in a row. Oubre’s recent rise really came when the 76ers were dealing with a handful of injuries, now that they are relatively healthy it will be interesting to see if he can keep it up. It was nice to see him remain in the starting lineup with Joel Embiid and Paul George also active. Embiid did leave with a face injury which gave him a boost, and depending on how long he is out might give Oubre some more run. He’s a nice hold for now.
Caris LeVert, SG,SF, CLEÂ (20% rostered)
Tonight: 28 minutes, 14 points (3-of-9 FG, 8-for-12 FT), five rebounds, six assist, one steal, one block
Analysis: A classic all-around game from LeVert, including 12 trips to the free-throw line which is not usual for him but we’ll take it. By now he has slid into his reserve role pretty comfortably and can be counted on outings like this on a consistent basis. The Cavaliers were also without Evan Mobley (ankle) which helped his usage a bit, even though his 28 minutes is about average for his last 7 games or so. It’ll be interesting to see what Max Strus does to the lineup, but he’ll take some ramping up before he’s back to 100% so LeVert’s role should be safe for now.
