Starters Walker Buehler and Logan Webb have pitched well not just this season but when matched up against their division foe. Webb finished with the highest ground ball rate (60.9) and second lowest home run rate (0.55 per 9 IP) in all of baseball while Buehler finished with a 44.7 ground ball rate, which was the highest amongst the LA starters. Also, Webb’s 1.69 home ERA and Buehler’s 3-1 record against the Giants this season both point to runs being hard to come by in the pitcher-friendly Oracle Park.
