How’d We Get Here?
The Kings made their biggest moves in the season, pushed to change things up by a lack of results and De’Aaron Fox’s trade request. Sacramento could’ve had Tyrese Haliburton but chose Fox; now they have neither. The summer featured lots of depth departures and minor additions, with the only new face of note being Dennis Schroder. Off the court there’s a lot going on with Monte McNair out and Scott Perry back in the fold. The Kings are rocking with an older lineup made mostly out of pure scorers, and while there are some intriguing prospects on the roster this team will be taking some steps back before going forward again. Same as it ever was.
