The wait is finally over. After months of mock drafts, rankings, projections, preseason overreactions, and convincing ourselves that this is definitely the year we win every fantasy league, real NBA basketball is back!
Opening Night brings us three games, six teams, and the first opportunity to find out how all those offseason projections translate to actual NBA rotations. There will be surprises. Some players will immediately look like steals, others will make us question every decision we made during draft season, and a few names sitting on waiver wires today might not be available much longer.
That’s where the Daily Cheat Sheet comes in.
This season, we’re getting ahead of the schedule and bringing you everything you need to prepare for the following day’s slate. The goal isn’t to predict every injury designation or last-minute lineup change. It’s to identify the players worth targeting, the situations worth monitoring, and the streaming opportunities that can give you an advantage before the games even begin.
For Opening Night, we’re doing things a little differently. Rather than chasing breakout performances that haven’t happened yet, we’re highlighting under-rostered players who could become valuable additions once we get our first look at their roles.
Let’s get into it!
