1 |
Chargers |
Titans |
This Chargers D is coming off a monster week in which they forced three interceptions and six sacks and allowed just 10 points to the Browns. They face a Titans offense that simply can’t score and has no QB. |
2 |
Eagles |
Cowboys |
Since their bye week in Week 5, this Eagles D has been soaring. Two double-digit fantasy performances in four weeks and five turnovers in the last two games. They face an injured and defeated Dallas squad that is starting their backup QB Cooper Rush for the next few weeks at least. |
3 |
Bills |
Colts |
Buffalo’s D had a rough fantasy week last week, but they have forced a turnover in every game this year and have four double-digit fantasy performances. The Colts offense has averaged around 17 points the last four weeks and both their QBs have been sloppy as of late. |
4 |
Vikings |
Jaguars |
Minnesota’s D has posted three double-digit fantasy performances in their last four games and forced turnovers in each of them. They face a Jacksonville offense that can score here and there, but is turnover prone. |
5 |
Bears |
Patriots |
Chicago’s D has struggled the last two weeks since their bye week, but this is a defense that has forced multiple turnovers in six of their eight games. They face a Patriots offense that averages just 15 points a game. |
6 |
Chiefs |
Broncos |
This Chiefs D allows an average of 18 points a game while Denver’s offense is very uneven through the first half of the season and coming off a blowout loss to the Ravens. Home field advantage will be huge for the Chiefs this week. |
7 |
Steelers |
Commanders |
While the Commanders have an explosive offense, this Steelers D has forced turnovers at will the last four weeks and allows just under 15 points per game this season. Washington should have a tough time this week. |
8 |
Giants |
Panthers |
New York’s D has been trending down since Week 5 and posted their first negative point fantasy performance last week, but they face a Panthers offense that averages just 16 points a game. This is a get-right game overseas in Germany. |
9 |
49ers |
Buccaneers |
The 49ers D isn’t stingy, but they make their opponents pay off of turnovers. They have forced multiple turnovers in four of their last five games. The Buccaneers are still without their top 2 wide receivers, so San Francisco should have a good day. |
10 |
Jets |
Cardinals |
This Jets D is coming off a great day against the Texans last week in which they allowed just 13 points and earned eight sacks. They face a Cardinals offense that has been uneven all season and has fumble issues. |
11 |
Lions |
Texans |
Detroit has a top-ten fantasy D so far this year and has posted two double-digit fantasy performances over the last four weeks. However, those performances relied heavily on turnovers and the Texans do not turn the ball over much. The Texans are also at home this week, giving them a slight advantage over this D. |
12 |
Rams |
Dolphins |
This Rams D has put up double-digit fantasy performances and scored a defensive touchdown in three of their last four games. Miami does turn the ball over a bit, but they have scored 27 points in back-to-back games. This matchup favors the Rams greatly, but it can be close if Miami’s offense comes to life. |
13 |
Falcons |
Saints |
Atlanta’s D hasn’t had a good game since the last time these two played each other. In fact, that Week 4 contest was this D’s only good game of the season. So, if history repeats itself, this D could have yet another big day. If not, then it’ll be another lackluster week. |
14 |
Commanders |
Steelers |
The Commanders have a top-five passing D, but an almost bottom-five run D. The Steelers have looked better offensively since making the switch to Russell Wilson. This D just brought in CB Marshon Lattimore, which will make it a bit harder for Pittsburgh to throw on them. However, when a team has a bruising RB in Najee Harris against a bottom run D, expect a heavy dose of the run game. |
15 |
Broncos |
Chiefs |
Denver’s D has been top-five all season, but they got beaten badly by the Ravens last week. They stay on the road and face a Kansas City offense that seems to have figured things out since the addition of WR DeAndre Hopkins. This D could be in trouble once again this week. |
16 |
Patriots |
Bears |
This Patriots D is one of the worst in football this season. They don’t force many turnovers or rack up sacks and they haven’t had a respectable fantasy performance since Week 5. Luckily, they face a Bears offense that has not been able to score all season and turns the ball over quite a bit. That’s why this D falls in the middle of the pack this week. |
17 |
Cardinals |
Jets |
Arizona’s D is in the middle of the pack, but they’re coming off a great performance in which they allowed just nine points and racked up six sacks against the Bears. However, they do have a couple negative point fantasy performances this year and haven’t forced a turnover the last two weeks. The Jets have a very talented offense that can’t seem to score much. This game is up in the air. |
18 |
Ravens |
Bengals |
Baltimore’s D struggled the last time these two played, producing the only negative point fantasy performance they’ve had so far. The Bengals have had a very shaky offense this year and this D’s performance depends on which version of Cincy’s offense will show up. |
19 |
Panthers |
Giants |
Carolina’s D does not force turnovers or rack up sacks and they give up an average of almost 32 points per game. The only thing saving them this week is that they play the Giants, who don’t score much at all. |
20 |
Titans |
Chargers |
Tennessee’s D is coming off a great performance against the Patriots in which they forced two interceptions and a fumble while allowing just 17 points. They face a Chargers offense that is slowly finding their groove the last two weeks. Also, with their offense being poor, this D could see the field a lot this week. |
21 |
Colts |
Bills |
This Colts D is coming off an impressive performance despite the loss to Minnesota. They got their first touchdown of the year off of a fumble recovery and added two more interceptions in the game. However, they face a Buffalo team that has won four straight and averaged 31+ points over their last three games. Buffalo also does not turn the ball over, so that can hurt the Colts this week. |
22 |
Saints |
Falcons |
These two played under much different circumstances in Week 4. Now, Atlanta has averaged over 31 points a game the last five weeks and New Orleans is without their best CB in Marshon Lattimore after trading him to Washington. This is a bad situation for the Saints D, but they are home and these two always play each other closely. |
23 |
Jaguars |
Vikings |
This Jaguars D salvaged an ugly week last week with a fumble recovery for a touchdown, but they’re still a bottom five defense. The only positive here is that Minnesota’s offense has started to come back down to Earth the last couple weeks. |
24 |
Buccaneers |
49ers |
This Buccaneers D has given up 30+ points each of the last three weeks and has only forced two turnovers in that span. They face a 49ers offense that is getting star RB Christian McCaffrey back and is getting healthy at a crucial time this season. |
25 |
Texans |
Lions |
Houston’s D has forced nine turnovers the last four weeks and doesn’t give up many points, but this Lions offense can score at will and has stars all across the board that can light up a scoreboard. |
26 |
Dolphins |
Rams |
Miami’s D has gotten torched the last two weeks. They do not force many turnovers and face a Rams team that is slowly getting healthy and been rolling the last two games. |
27 |
Cowboys |
Eagles |
The Eagles have been arguably the most efficient football team in the league over the last four weeks. The Cowboys D might be on the field a lot due to having their backup QB and an injured CeeDee Lamb play this week. |
28 |
Bengals |
Ravens |
When these two last played each other in Week 5, Cincinnati got demolished. The Ravens have an almost unstoppable offense so far this year. This D is on the road in Baltimore. Just like the matchup above, the usual tight division game saying shouldn’t apply here. |
