The Knicks are seeking a guard at the trade deadline and view Malik Monk as a potential target, per Ian Begley of SNY.

Monk recently recently expressed surprise at his inclusion in trade rumors, but this is now a few outlets mentioning interest from New York. He's having the best season of his three-year career, though that's a low bar to clear and he's shooting a dreadful .258 from the 3-point line. A change of scenery might do him some good but the Hornets probably won't just be moving him for the sake of moving him considering their own development curve.
