Markieff MorrisPF, Detroit PistonsMarkieff Morris has greed to a contract buyout with the Pistons, per Shams Charania.
This isn't surprising — frankly it's more shocking that the Pistons didn't move Morris, who is on a one-year deal, for a second-round pick at the deadline. He was a DNP-CD on Thursday so the writing was on the wall. Morris is currently shooting a career-best .397 from behind the arc and should generate interest from contenders in need of a stretch four. He's unlikely to hold legitimate fantasy value on a good team, while this opens up some breathing room for Sekou Doumbouya in Detroit.
