After missing the last three games with right elbow pain, Dewayne Dedmon has been cleared to return to practice.

It’s likely Dedmon’s status won’t officially be upgraded until later in the week, once the Hawks see how he reacts to workouts and practicing with contact. With Clint Capela (right calcaneus contusion/plantar fasciitis) not cleared to play yet, Dedmon’s absence has left the team quite thin at center, with Bruno Fernando and Damian Jones getting the majority of those minutes.
