De'Anthony Melton (sore left hand) participated in morning shootaround but is still listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Pelicans.

It bears mentioning that Melton's status as doubtful has remained unchanged only because the daily injury reports have yet to be updated, so there's still a chance Melton gets upgraded. According to coach Taylor Jenkins, he's still being evaluated. Melton is a per-minute dynamo and has been worth rostering over the past month as borderline top-100 value. Over that span, he's averaged 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal a game with sterling percentages, making him one of the more alluring fantasy stashes heading into the trade deadline.
